Tried out my newly painted Austrians in the Battle of Caldiero in Northern Italy. I used a scenario based on the Age of Eagles Napoleonic Scenario of the same name. The French are outnumbered in this scenario but have better quality leaders and troops. They need to go on the offensive to win and it proved a tough assignment. Caldiero is in the centre.
The battle near the end with the result still undecided.
