Cyber Wars replaced HCON this year as a bridge to 2021 when hopefully the Mother of All Wargaming Conventions* is back as a full face to face event. Here is my report.

*For all the youngsters, the term "Mother of All Wargaming Conventions" was the name given to Historicon – good Lord, decades ago – by Amy Gammerman when she covered the event for the Wall Street Journal.

Glad to hear it went well! However, I was unable to see the vendor list (or the "Discussion Tab" mentioned), maybe because I am not on FB?

Go to link and the vendor list is in a table at the bottom. The ones with sales advertised on Facebook.

The same page had a link to link where you could sign up for the Roundtable Discussions.

In many cases these events gave the Zoom (or whatever) URL so people could lurk without registering. This was particularly so with the Virtual Gaming slate.

Did this help?

"The ones with sales advertised on Facebook."

So basically you could see the list of vendors but not see if they were having any sales unless your are on Facebook.
Doesn't seem very user friendly to me. Why not just specify what sales were being offered where the list of vendors was located? It would make things easier for those like me who don't have a Facebook account.

I actually point that out in my article, that the HMGS Webpage should be the focal point for everything, even if providing simply providing direct links to other pages

BUT

Also, I would imagine having vendors post their adverts themselves direct to a Facebook page is a lot less work to do for the small volunteer staff involved. And given the HMGS Facebook page lists 2918 members (as opposed to the membership list of 1334), I guess the "needs of the many" etc, etc, given the staff resources available made going with FB a logical, tho not perfect, choice.
