In an earlier blog post, I talked about a new project: air battles over the Falkland Islands. It's taken a bit, but the first post about the new project is finally online. Drop by and check it out at: mymodelsailingships.blogspot.com |

A very nice looking vessel. Lots of great scenarios and what-ifs for that one, including the British subs, and/or surface fleet catching the Argentine one too, at about the same time. Argentina is sabre rattling again, but no one really has any vessels to be able to commit to that, so I suggest equal numbers of manned longboats be fielded in order to see who wins. |

Thresher01, Thanks. The Invincible class of ships were some good-looking vessels, so that helps a bit. I've got a Shapeways model of HMS Plymouth in my Cod Wars ships, and that was sort of the genesis of this Falklands project. The idea is primarily to do the air battles, but I do have some modern naval rules as well. . . . |
