Do people would have an advantage after total gastrectomy ?
And would it break any rule to participate without a stomach?

Are there bingers that have the stomach to do it without one?

I believe that I had a hot dog earlier this year. Without baseball, though, my hot dog consumption is way down.

@etotheipi

Couldn't find anything about Sonja Thomas having had a gastrectomy, but Dr. Marc S. Levine is of the opinion competitive speed eating might cause:
"intractable nausea and vomiting, necessitating a partial or total gastrectomy to relieve their symptoms and restore their ability to eat."
