Other than Noble Night Games, any other US distributors of WW2 Essex minis? Noble Night has very limited stock.

There used to be a distributor. Not anymore. I order directly from England.

You could message them and see if they could order them.

C&B Minis also carries Essex in the US, though not WWII; you might message them as well, as they do make special orders. Their main trade is conventions, though, and I don't know how the Current Affair has affected that.

I have S.O.'d Essex minis from both parties in the past, and both have been great to deal with.

I order directly from England.

I never have- never been happy with Essex's shipping rates.

I asked C&B about Essex WWII, and apparently tho they dont stock them, they can order them.

Col Piron27 Jul 2020 11:50 a.m. PST

I order directly from England.

As the postal rates went up on somethings to the USA from 1st July , it might not be worth it now ?

Looks like Essex is a no-go. Shipping rates are stupid.

Salutations, Capt. Cold,

IMHO, Mr. Rossi of C&B Minis is first-rate person, customer service above and beyond.

I'd drop him message, what you want, the number and section of Essex webpage. He should be able to order (even if it's not in his usual stock), have it included in his next regular shipment, either ship it to you, or you can (could???) pick it up at next convention. I have done this, with no problems.

Hope this is helpful.

I have been ordering from Essex (in England) but primarily for command stands. In the "old days" an ancient army would only have 1 or 2 command figures and would not have a command stand (2 to 6 figures with more figures on army command). Have tried to get 5 or 6 command stands for my smaller armies and up to 16 command stands for my larger armies. I order from Essex as my figures are old and the command figures are similar to the units.

Round stands for command and the old rectangular stands for the units.

Bob Rossi is a great guy to deal with.

Is C&B still in business? Their website appears to be down.

When I get a chance, I'll check my wargame overstock area as I might have some laying around unused. I think mostly Americans if I can find them.

I think they have stopped doing mail orders , so probably don't need a website .

Are there now any other vendors for Essex in the US then? I have no choice & must do mail order.

Damon.
