May I present a Royalist Regiment of Dragoons? Originally raised as Ussher's, then command passed to Washington (honorary Colonel was Prince Maurice towards the end of the First Civil War) More info and pics link

Another superb addition. Of course mine are in neither of those coat colors but at least I have them in my Marston ob. Again, excellent addition to your catalog of units. |

Takeda – coat colours are pure supposition. They were in the right place to be equipped red or blue clothing, but we don't know for certain. Marston Moor OoB is the same, they are a possible maybe, as opposed to an 'unlikely'. Paint them how you want – unless someone has photographic proof or can dig out a manuscript or receipt book saying otherwise who's to say you are wrong? And thanks for the kind words both of you |
