I am now dealing with an average of thirty spam comments per day. The content is sometimes of a borderline obscene nature, and despite making comments require the person making it have a Google account and to tick the ‘I am not a robot' option, they are still getting through thick and fast! |

Is there a way to require commenters to sign up on your site, so that you can approve/monitor them? That might help. I guess you could always just turn off comments too. Hope they are at least improving your clicks, and that you get some money from that. |

I have comment moderation and ‘I am not a robot' verification in place. this stops the spam getting onto my blog, but it doesn't stop them trying. |
