OK, I lose my mind from time to time. But these guys were just crying out for a thousand-year upgrade. I combined the Wargames Atlantic Dark Ages Irish Warriors with spare parts from the Lace Wars kits currently available from Warlord Games and came up with these guys. It was an amusing way to spend an evening. link

This is a nice set indeed. I put up one of these heads on one of their Persian bodies and got someone like Ragnar Lodbrok :-)
The bodies of the Irish are especially multi-usable, though the bodies with the round-socket on the right should for the spear need some knifework to create proper looking folks. For this usage (Jacobites) I would probably use muskets from the old Wargames Factory Indian sprue (now available with Warlord Games).
