All,

I love my Black Scorpion Cowboys and Apaches. I do not however care for the seventh cavalry they have done. Are there any other manufacturers making US cavalry or even ACW figures that would match Black Scorpion? They stand 32mm to the top of the head.

I've happily mixed some of the BS Apaches with others from Artisan and Wargames Foundry without any real problems. Both are quite ‘hefty' 28mm sculpts, and their US Cavalry are the nicest out there – it's just a pity that Artisan doesn't do mounted Buffalo Soldiers as well as dismounted.

You really are comfortable using them together?

Nick, now you mention it, I might be confusing BS and the Apaches from Great Escape Games!

Ah, definitely more likely match.

I can't imagine BS and Foundry being on the same table together.
