Hi all..

Recently I came across two squadron boxes of Cold Navy ships I had purchased faaar too long ago and not did much with.

With all the solo-gaming of various systems going on and the catching up on painting projects, I figured I would pull them out to work on.

Once I have them done, I'd like to actually USE them in a game. Which brings me to wondering if there is a system out there that either has them done already or already uses them?

I remember the original company planning on a system but I can't find anything that says they finished them.

Any and all help appreciated!

I think there was a STARMADA by Mj12games did a Cold Navy book for their rules

Full Thrust will work.

I think I've seen Full Thrust Stats for them but can't remember where, I would have thought SCN but they aren't there.

Me too, now that you mention it.

Can anyone verify the Starmada info?

Hate to lay out coin and have it not be true.

Can't confirm directly, though Starmada made a NUMBER of rule books for different 'universes'.

That said, the particular ships won't be in a generic book, though I've used them with proxied ship designs in Full Thrust, thought they worked the way I'd imagined, and am sure you could do the same with some flavor of Starmada.

StarRanger's site indicates that, in 2004, Xtreme Hobby was selling Starmada X and A Sky Full of Ships as well. Sort of a recommendation, I assume.

Doug, thanks for the info.

Going to have to hunt down a copy of Starmada X or Sky Full of Ships and see. Even 5150 may work so who knows?

I don't mind proxy but I dislike having to, ya know?

Time to do research.

No problem, though I'll admit to being yet another Full Thrust fan boy.

Whatever rules work for you are perfect. ;->=

I found Starmada sheets for several ships in the Wayback Machine version of the Xtreme Hobby website.

Start here and wander around: link

This page has the Karria B. link

Don't know if there are any fan forums out there, but you might want to search. I'd also ask at SCN, if you haven't. Someone likely packratted them.

Considering if these would be fun to redesign for Squadron Strike …

I shall beat The Archer to the punch…

Thanks for all of those!
