"Avocado isn't just for eating — in guacamole, atop tacos, on toast — it's for drinking, too! At select grocery stores in the U.S., consumers can now find avocado milk on shelves. The nondairy milk alternative is set to satisfy our need for all things avocado, and is trying to give other milk alternatives such as soy milk, almond milk and oat milk a run for their money…"

Sounds disgusting and interesting at the same time. I'm sure I'll try it when it comes to my local Whole Foods or wherever. |

I like avocados straight out of the skin, off the pit. Liquidized? No thanks….and it is not "milk" Milk is "milk" :) |

Maybe mix it in with some seasoning for a salad dressing. Get a water pump and make a terrain board with a "Green Rivers of Mars" game. (I don't recommend drinking it after the game.) That would be too messy for a sandwich, and I don't think I would pour it over cereal. |

I'd give it a shot. Might be good with some vodka. |

Probably not, allthough Papa Nurgle approves. Otherwise: +1 Palewarrior Great idea, but since avocado milk is the latest alternative milk hype, it is for sure more expensive to paint a whole Nurgle's Garden table with it than with some nurgly GW paint. |

Sure! Why not! We'll find out soon enough if tonnes of toxic waste are generated during manufacture (cf Greek Yoghurt). Sow's milk – now there is a different problem. |

I ate a balut, so I am not the right person to question. Try it? Sure. If I liked it, I would just add it to the other stuff I consume. I once had some people at work ask "Soy milk? How can you drink something made of beans?" I replied, "Yeah, it's kinda ridiculous … want another cup of coffee? non-dairy creamer? maybe vanilla or chocolate?" |

Avocados are nasty. I laugh that people spend money to buy them. Neighbor had an avocado tree. Neither one of us could figure out ways to prepare or cook them. He gave them away for years, the tree eventually died, problem solved… |

Is it as bland and tasteless as avocado? If so, then no. |

@Stoppage – Truth be told, I only rented the balut for a while, then had food poisoning symptoms the next day. But, it's a thing and I tried. Surströmming – I've had it and it's OK. My little sister loved a similar Dutch fermented herring. They serve it on a hotdog bun (so it can be a carryable street food) with onions and mustard. What I have yet to try is Hákarl. I eat smoked, salted, and fermented fish a lot. Again, I'll either like it or not. But I do want to give 'er a go. |

Ainsley owns that Hakarl: like chewing a urine-infested mattress Interesting that the Vikings worked out how to de-toxify shark flesh by fermentation. |
etotheipi | 18 Jul 2020 11:22 a.m. PST |
Even if I tried Hákarl, I lack experience chewing urine-infested mattresses, and thus could not make a comparison. |

So, give the avocado a mammogram? Kinky!! BTW, the phrase, "I'll bite" is American slang indicating that some one is willing to accept what has been said or proposed. |
