Ages ago there was an unofficial rules variant for 40k focusing on the Vietnam War. Does anyone remember this? I dove thru my tomes of old CD back ups but I guess I never saved it. There was even a Yahoo Group if I remember correctly.

Yes, that was it. Looks like it's done and dusted as a Yahoo Group.

hi bravo six:
i checked my files and i have the rules and the army lists. i can zip them and upload them to a volafile room. would that work for you?

Bravo Six17 Jul 2020 7:03 a.m. PST

Clark, thanks so much for the offer. In a more in depth internet search I came across a Spanish site with a Google Drive link containing the whole rules and army lists so I grabbed it last night.

Thanks though.

Yes, and Catachan Jungle Fighters were the US forces. ;)

Catachans? That takes me back at least a decade. My two sons did this model for me. I did the AFV in front in the German "Ambush Scheme" with the dappled leaf effect.

I always wanted to do Imperial Guard Water Patrol Craft against Ork Insurgents on a large river board.
