youtu.be/jw-Tn_55Nt0 link With the Kingdom of Jerusalem force coming to an end (seperate update soon) I was looking around the lead mountain and found an old box of 28mm Victrix waiting to be made up. So I'm on with a 1:20 allied legion, 32 Velites, 64 Hastati, 64 Principles, 32 Triari and 24 Cavalry. A little Unboxing and project plan video as well. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Interesting that you chose to paint plastic to reduce your "lead" mountain! :) As an aside, I chose to use Aventine Estruscans for my allies. |

Many thanks, Marcus lol, I think my "lead" pile now has a lot of plastic in it these days. The Argentine figures are gorgeous, I got a Unit of Carthage Cavalry from them last month and will be getting my Italian Cavalry from them. But with the Victrix boys coming in at 50p each compared to Aventines £1.20 GBP over 200 figures that's £140.00 GBP I can spend on other stuff. Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |

Yes, price point matters. I have been finding that plastic is not as durable as metal. So perhaps the extra cost is worth it? Considering that the biggest cost is my time painting the figure. |

Haven't had any problems with plastics personally, but most of my stuff only travels about 6 feet from cupboard to table. I still can't get used to picking a base of 8 figures up with no weight though ! Any specific issue you've found ? Regards Ken The Yarkshire Gamer |
