Sure they're professionals, but they're messy and goofy too, just like us! Well, the animated Lower Decks trailer reveals what would happen if you put actual disaster people aboard a starship, and it's pretty great. Yep – not a good sign when you just barely crack a smile at something and then…poof! They hit you with really crap joke or gag that just falls flat. And that is just the trailer. And trailers are usually supposed to contain enough of the "good stuff" to hook you…so..? |

Only reviews I've heard have been cut and pastes of the early reviews of "The Orville", which tells me more about the reviewers than the show. I can't even access the platform here, so I may be one of the few Trek fans with a sense of self-deprecating humor who won't be watching . . . Wait, I could have ended that sentence before the word "who". Ah well. |
