I'm not one who enjoys basing at the best of times and I invariably seem to leave it until the amount of it I have to do daunts me.

Last weekend I bit the basing bullet and based up the 'Covid battalions', including two battalions of the 4th Vistula which came out quite nicely.

I can't see them hitting the table any time soon, but they are at least ready to now.

I have both the 25/28mm and 15/18mm versions of Blue Moon's Dracula's Castle and am looking to detail them. I assume spray paint should be avoided, but am wondering whether it's better to use acrylics or enamels. Do shading techniques used on metal minis work on high density foam?
What's the best way to seal and protect such buildings once the detailing itself is done? Any advice or tips will be most welcome! Thanks!
