Alternative titles could include 'projects that get out of control' or 'I've been in lockdown too long'.

It started with the fore turret (which has the 15mm figure for scale next to it), which I was building for an emplacement with a nod to those fortifications with navel turrets installed, but it was too big for the building… And then built another turret… And then I thought I could put the turrets on something, such as landship and I don't even do VSF! I'm probably going to put it on wheels rather than tracks though pedrails would be most appropriate but a total pain.

That's creative. And huge.

Not big enough. It should be driveable. grin

(I joke, but… surely RC Ogres should be a A Thing.)

Very nice!

Two stacks and three turrets puts my little landships to shame:

Very cool!

In the book we wrote (Shameless plug), we had some big vehicles as well. Haven't gotten around to printing any of them, but hopefully will at some point :-)

Wonder if the TMP hive mind can help out with suggestions for crew and may be a couple of deck guns – like a Nordenfelt. I've found a couple 15mm river / gun boats with crew and guns, but no separate figures.

Also ladders – which I don't have to scratch build!

Ladders can be had from Plastastrut from your local model railway store.

TVAG has a bunch of cool stuff in 15mm

No Nordenfeldt yet, but Gatling guns and a Lewis. Plus you canuse the carriages from these and get your Nordenfeldt from Blue Moon's Boxer Rebellion artillery link

The Blue Moon carriage wheels don't have enough spokes on their wheels but the weapons themselves are darned nice.

Gaming Models does GREAT stuff for very reasonable prices. link Look at the various Japanese shore guns that were mostly removed from ships.

I know there are a couple of other companies but I can't recall them.

tsofian, thanks for the links. eBay provided the Plastruct ladders.

The project now has wheels and I raided my collection of GZG architectural bits to replace some rather lacklustre scratch building on my part. To give some idea of just how big it is the steel rule is 24". Where to keep the damn thing is now the its biggest problem! Once the bulk detailing is done I'll need to get some undercoat on it – it will have to be a rattle-can job as my airbrush is in no way up to the job. But I'll need to do some serious gap filling first as its a polystyrene core under the card.

I don't see anything Lackluster there at all! Any time this contraption wants to fight some bugs let me know!

Wrong side of the Atlantic – and it really wouldn't do well in airline baggage! Also lurking in the background is a pathfinder tank I'm working on – figuring that anything as big as the landship would need something to help it navigate.

Love that huge stuff. Good luck on it.
