I am a part of a website and blog that focuses on the Western Theater of the Civil War (and we also include the Trans-Mississippi). We have authors, NPS rangers, bloggers, and others who will be adding some great content over the next few months.

Not gaming related, except that you may catch some inspiration from any of the upcoming posts!

As I live in the heart of the theater and in close proximity to 4 major battlefields, I applaud your efforts!

Darryl does a great many things to promote the Civil War and wargaming. Hats off to a man who will gladly bring you to the Civil War with guided tours, walks through cemeteries, gaming or just good talks. Thnx. H

Great find. The Western Theater was where the was was won.

138squadronraf said what I was going to say. The potential for the war to end in one battle was in the east but the war was won in the west. Interestingly, in the west the Union armies were often outnumbered but had better generals , the opposite of most eastern battles.
