I had a PC crash recently; lost my 1 of my 2 data drives and my darn back up drive. I was/am in the process of putting stuff in the cloud so not as bad as could be but still hurt.

I've done all I can do but effectively lost about 15 years of accumulated stuff including a myriad of wargames rules, references, hints, tips, AAR, photos, colour swatches and so on.

I reached out to THW because a few years back I had bought .PDF of some of their rule sets. I asked if they still had a record of my purchases because one of the sets is no longer listed and I wanted to re-purchase.

Without any hesitation I got sent copies of three rule sets I had purchased plus the two free downloads I had got from their site; all up to date and no request to pay.

That's great service in my book.

+1 for THW, the company that I rely on for many of my wargame rules needs.

I agree, Ed is a first class act! I just wish he would stick to one set of Zombie rules, lol!

Sundance07 Jul 2020 7:11 a.m. PST

Ed's awesome! I have several of their rules.

I've always had positive experiences with THW. I try to keep my rules backed up on Dropbox but I only have so much room!

Ed is a great guy (I read it on the internet, so it must be true!).

Which rules do you have? I'll dig through my archives and see if I have any of freebies that have been released over the years (QRS's, specific reaction tests, etc).

I bought a set of rules from Ed and wouldnt you know it, few weeks later newer version comes out. I wrote asking if there was any discount possible to upgrade. Ed's response was to send the new PDF free of charge. I agree with all above, certainly sets the bar high for others!

Well the response reinforces it, THW are good value…

@Stryderg -mine were Morale Napoleon, RRTK both versions, Thanks for the offer !

Sorry, I didn't collect those titles, too busy with sci fi, fantasy and WWII.

You can't beat Ed!

Well you can…. but you'd be charged. ;)

All my experiences with Ed have been top notch!

I wish I could have posted earlier, a TMP glitch slowed me down. The point is, I had a similar, if not as catastrophic problem with my hard ware. The mighty ED did not just fix it but he delved deep into the files for a couple of days in order to help me. I cannot possibly do anything but extol the virtues of THW!

An often overlooked thing with Ed is his attitude to his games.

No matter what crazy mixed-up idea you want use with THW rules Ed's answer is the same.

"Great. It's your game, you go and have fun"

PzGeneral10 Jul 2020 4:39 a.m. PST

Yup, Ed's the man thumbs up

Amalric17 Jul 2020 2:59 p.m. PST

Not only is Ed great, but his rule sets are pretty good to.
