I am using Haythornthwaite's Uniforms of Waterloo to figure out my Prussians. I'm not that picky and am working on 15s so I don't need to hear about how wrong he might be. I am looking for the 29th regiment. He stops at the 28th for some reason and does not continue. Looking for uniform type, color, and facing colors. |

I do believe there was some major differences between Jena and 1813-15 period for flags. Are you set on free flags? I get all my flags from GMB. I do 28's, but they also have 15's. Chris |

they did not carry colours in the 1815 campaign, only the old regiments. |

Uniforms during the 1815 campaign were still as on the plate below (troops of the General-Gouvernement Berg, no direct lineage to the troops of the Großherzogtum Berg). 1st battalion: uniform of the grenadiers. 2nd and 3rd battalion: uniform of the 2nd Berg infantry regiment. Volunteer Jägers: probably similar to the 1814 Jäger battalion.

I am building the OOB for Ligny to use with Napoleons Battles. So a brigade, or regiment in the Prussian case, being the smallest unit. I don't try to get too detailed. So white jacket and lt grey pants, French style should be suitable. I am using the old TTG range for my 100 days and Spainish projects. I have a soft spot in my heart for the little guys. The range has its limitations so I'll have to work within that. Looks like GMB will suit my purposes for flags. I like Vaubanner and have used them for my SYW project. I just don't need all the flags. Thanks everyone for your help! |

Tabletop Games, I have a French line regiment from them. Huge shakoes IIRC. |
