There's no 54mm board on which to ask this. Does anyone know what scale this model is, from having actually built and measured one? Old releases say it's 1/32 but it's currently labelled 1/35. oldmodelkits.com reckon it could be as large as 1/28. Anyone know for sure? |

I could not find any mention of the correct scale, other than most people saying the scale is probably closer to 1/32. This is a very elderly kit, so I would not expect any real support for it anywhere. Most serious modellers would choose the Tamiya, Hobby Boss or Bronco kits these days. Damon. |

Look it up at Scalemates.com Not only do they have release/version histories of models, but they often have the instructions in pdf. |

Hi Zephyr I have seen the instructions and the old ones say it is 1/32 while the newer say it is 1/35! Here's an older boxing that scalemates describes as 1:35. Note the 1/32 on the box: link and here's a 2007 boxing, one you can still find quite easily, which now says 1/35! link Airfix did the same. Their tank kits were originally scaled as HO/OO, which then became 1/76, which then became 1/72, which has now reverted to 1/76, but it was the same plastic inside throughout. |
