Can someone tell me the difference in terms of the TMP website between Stifle and Ignore? Also, is putting 'the TMP' redundant? Thanks,

If you Stifle a TMP member, you can no longer see his forum posts. If you Ignore a TMP member, you can no longer see topics which he started on the TMP homepage. |

But remember, if you Stifle or Ignore one of the moderators, we'll want to have a private chat with you about what the problem is, and your account will be auto-Locked as part of that process. |

I think it important to say that Stifle and Ignore is not necessarily due to not liking the person, just that you aren't interested in what they post, or their posts block out more interesting posts from the front page. They are useful tools, if used wisely and circumspectly, and can be undone if you change your mind. |

Useless it's changed stifle just blanks their post. You can still see the name but nothing that was posted by that person. I find it annoying. Ignore and they go away. |

…and you do need to be signed in. If you come to the site and not logged in, you may see posts you don't want to see. |
