About 10 years ago I saw a game presented at one of the Williamsburg Va, ODMS communi-cons of a pirate raid on a Japanese seacoast village, ca. 1600. It was a small set up, maybe 30" square, but it was HEARTBREAKINGLY beautiful. 9+ on the diorama scale. I was sure it was a test run for a big east coast con, but I never saw it again. Pity, it was a real looker. That same con boasted another super setup a few years later of an Irish Easter Rebellion game. Really something. |
