"President Donald Trump jokingly accepted responsibility for the aesthetic design of the US Navy's latest series of guided-missile ships.

"The ships that they were building, they look terrible," Trump said in a Thursday speech at the shipyard in Wisconsin where these warships are built. "I would change designs, I looked at it. The most Beautiful ship that the Royal Navy ever had…in full hull model form, anyway…was H.M.S Hood! Erm…

The R.N type 21 frigates looked lovely, but not much use in the event. U.S.N Zumwalt and LCS are pig ugly…and do not work. How is it that Russia…largely a land mass can build ships that look great and carry massive force…(when armed, crewed and serviceable!) ???

JUST MAKE IT WORK!

No problem about 'Naming': Sophia L/ Whitney H/ Brittany S…ANY actress/singer…ethnicity abundant!

The U.S. has always had a history of turning round a 'problem' and 'making it work'…so…WHY NOT?

I have to agree.

Ships and other vehicles should look good/great, so they are loved by their crews.

Of course, looks shouldn't outweigh functionality though, but you can have both.

Yeah, looks will change Chinese intentions. Will this be capable of fighting or are we going to get more "stay tuned" for weapons?
