Hello All, kindly recommend some 15mm manufactures to represent armies for the Battle of Lechfeld (955). The Germans would be Ottonian era, Norman-like milites with round shields. Old Glory has a line: link I am unsure what to use for the Hungarian forces. I understand they are mostly horse archers, but are there any lines specific to the era and locale? Old glory has the horse armies line. Not sure if that is accurate for the Hungarians. link Thanks for an recommendations. |

Could you use 15mm Breton milites, usually Norman figures with rounded shields?, Essex miniatures do a later Breton and Frank range that may prove useful. Re the Hungarians at this stage would any Slav Dark Age range suffice. Sorry not an area of expertise but what are I hope helpful suggestions to point you in the right direction. Best of luck with your project. |

Essex do indeed do a good variety of Hungarian and similar horse archers that would fit the bill for Lechfeld/ Phil |
