I have spent so much time on Facebook during the covid 19 pandemic that I find myself trying to click like after reading a post here on TMP. why not add a simiar feature here so at a glance we can see what response a given post is receiving> |

It's been voted down before, but let's see. |

I agree that would be a good idea. |

I disagree, mostly because I don't care* what other people think, especially about what I say. But I'm not usually in the main stream of social movements. * ie. "don't need their approval" |

You only need a "Like" button if you're too lazy to actually type out your thanks or appreciation for someone's contribution. |

So you're saying we need a "Lazy" button…? |

I'd vote for that. Mostly because it would save "message" space in the database, because you could "like" instead of posting a new message. And then the item count for each post would better indicate some debate (which I find interesting to follow). But absolutely no league tables for most likes, either for post or poster or anything else. |

You mean like I learned from the USAF ? "The Green button is for coffee … the Red button destroys the world." |

The idea sounds democratic. Should be a "dislike" option also. |

Are we Instagram models or wargamers? |

Wargamer Blue: LOL! On other gaming forums I participate in, it is a common feature. Those forums, however, are more genteel than TMP (they're also much smaller for membership, less popular, etc.). I guess my vote for it as a feature on TMP, would be: "Meh." Cheers! |

Maybe a "Meh" button too? |
