Formerly Iron Duke's it is truly the most magnificent range op 28mm figures for that period.
And a wargamer's dream come true. Over 200 different mutineers
both in full dress and native clothing, British, HEIC, Artillery, camels, elephants, sailors etc.
All sculpted my maestro Paul Hicks
Take a look for yourself!

On the Iron Duke site is also a very comprehensive set of articles on uniforms , OOB's and much, much more!

Most of my figures are from Mutineer Miniatures – if you're familiar with them, are the two compatible?

I have all the Mutineer figures as well and they are, even though a bit taller and stockier, compatible with the Empress figures.
Foundry IM is a little smaller but most are still also very compatible.
Indus Miniatures are a perfect match.

Excellent, I've got a load of the Foundry Indian/NWF figures which are a bit larger than the ‘true 25mm' Brits from their original Mutiny range, and some Indus, so that bodes well.

It is rather a good range isn't it (just took a look) and the background information on the Iron Duke site is really useful – better start saving!

Also, Iron Duke/Empress infantry go well with Old Glory IM, OG horses are much smaller than ID, but I use them on the same table anyway. ID sculpting is much finer.

I use ID for my Brits and Mutineer for my mutineers.

I'm slowly replacing my OG mutineers with the far superior ID versions but I'm rubbish at painting mainly white clot hing and can't do them justice!
