Trying again…

Peter Pig makes 15mm helmeted heads for Danish troops. What are the likely candidates for conversion?

For "what if" games.

Thanks!

Have you considered using the Dutch from True North. The uniforms and helmets are pretty much the same.

I disagree with Wargamer Blue given that the Dutch wore puttees, a very discernible feature even in 15mm.

What you need are greatcoated troops – how about packs 17 and 58 in Peter Pig's WWI range?

Maha,

The WWI Russians in greatcoat do look like a pretty good match.

What do you think of the Blue Moon WWI Germans for the Danish field gray uniform?

That's quite a stroke of genius, Gear! The trousers look to be the right shape; all you need to do is obliviate to the puttees to turn into them into boots.

Personally I associate Danes with greatcoats, but hey, it's your toys.

I saw a Danish movie about a bicycle unit during the invasion and brief battles prior to the armistice. They all wore overcoats.
