Hi all, just getting started with SYW, I've got a few Foundry Prussians painted up as Hessians, wanted to expand and do some Brunswickers, any suggestions on models to use that would look ok next to my other minatures?

Cheers!

More Foundry Prussians? Brunswick infantry looks more or less like Prussians.

That was what I was thinking!

The Brunswick infantry had Swedish cuffs. The Foundry Prussian Frei Korps marching figures are what I use.

I started a Brunswick Army a couple of years back. It started the same way as you, with the purchase of some Foundry Prussians.I ended up using Crusader Miniatures figures. I had to do a little work on the cuff, the biggest issue was Brunswick NCO carried halberts and not pikes. If I had to do it all over again I would go with Minden figures. The biggest issue I had was with the French, I could not find any French Cav I liked and fitted size size with them.
Here is a comparison I did of figure sizes, #12 is a Foundry while #13 is a Crusader.

Here is a shot of my Imhoff Regt. (note: I'm thinking of redoing the colors for this unit. I recently came up with better information on the earlier ones carried. The Prussian pattern one are very late to post 7YW)

BTW if you're interested in the Brunswick flags let me know. I've worked up some printable patterns.
