Bolt Action DAK: I am continuing to inventory and take photo's of my miniature collections, here is my second Bolt Action Army – the Afrika Korps. Most of the figures are Warlord Games 28mm.

That is a lot of Afrika Korps! Great to see an infantry-balanced force; they will be a tough nut to beat! Great work |

Somebody just gave me a test sprue of these. I was surprised at the green coats. I did see it was the color given to the troops sent to Africa. Never knew that. I always thought it was more of an orange yellow. What percentage wore this color and for how long? I assume more climate appropriate uniforms did show up? When you get past the horse and musket period I am a little out of my wheelhouse. I don't have many references. However, I may start gaming this period and theatre. |

Just from a personal point of view I'd have taken all the mould lines off before I painted, especially on the helmets. But that's just me. |
