Hello Gentlemen.

Please, I would need your thoughts on the mounted infantry in TSATF.

As I'm planning a campaign on the Transvaal war, a unit of british mounted infantry is needed. So, would the unit be like other infantry units, 20 soldiers or like a mounted unit with 12?.

Many thanks in advance.

Uncle Goblin, I can only tell you how I do it with my group. Both Boer and British mounted infantry units are 20 men each when dismounted but represented by 12 cav figs when mounted. Brit actual cav units are 12 figs mounted & dismounted. Due to the number of units, the cost of the figs, and the size of the table I figured it be better to represent the units as stated rather than 20 mounted figs for each mounted infantry unit.
Cheers,
Sgt G

Thanks a lot SgtGuiness. A very good idea indeed.

Apologies Torokchar. I thought I had opened a new message but seems something has gone wrong.
