After I painted all my VBCW regulars, I started going through my ‘spares' to see what I had that I could paint up as random units. I knew I had a bunch of Renegade Miniatures WW1 Early War British that I hadn't used for various reasons. As it turns out, there were 70 of them. So I started making units: Here's the first. link |

Well done. Inspires me to make a red coat unit too. Just what VBCW needs. I certainly have enough spares around/ |

The red and black look great. Cleaver idea going for the 1st WW figures – very believable. |

Good to see people still dabbling in VBCW. And a great line Renegade was too, the very first high quality range of 1914 BEF I think? Way ahead of Great War Miniatures and the manufacturers who employed Paul Hicks. |
