Superglue is notorious for having a short shelf life. When you purchase superglue, do you write down the date of purchase so you know when the stuff is too old to trust? |

No, but I probably should. |

SWMBO does not allow me to date. I buy a six pack online for delivery of Loctite CA and go through it in a couple of months. Apparently beer and chocolate also have "best if used by dates" … what is that about? |

I try to use as much as possible from the tube and then throw it away. So I try to save up all of my gluing projects and do them all in a day or so. It doesn't always work that way. And of course I buy the smallest containers of glue. |

No sir, I am a married man. |
John Armatys | 05 Jun 2020 2:11 p.m. PST |
No, but following a tip on TMP I have taken to keeping my stock of superglue in the fridge. |
HostileContact | 05 Jun 2020 2:18 p.m. PST |
I try not to. The relationship is often…….sticky. |
Parzival | 05 Jun 2020 2:19 p.m. PST |
Dang. All the best jokes were taken. No, I don't note when I buy it. When it seems not to work anymore, I just buy more. |
BTCTerrainman | 05 Jun 2020 2:31 p.m. PST |
Nope since I never use it at all. |
MajorB | 05 Jun 2020 2:52 p.m. PST |
Never use superglue. Too brittle. |
14Bore | 05 Jun 2020 2:59 p.m. PST |
Like it has a chance to stick around very long? |
Dynaman8789 | 05 Jun 2020 3:05 p.m. PST |
No – but I have gotten sticky fingers from it… |

Drinks and dinner…I wouldn't call it a date though. |

A little light conversation, possibly over dinner. But not an actual date. And I don't trust anyone. Glue is no different. |

Given up for good | 05 Jun 2020 9:54 p.m. PST |
Nope but I can normally tell from the smell. If it does not stink I know it's not going to be good but it's so rare now I've not binned a tube or bottle for years and that includes the stuff that's spent a year or two in the roof! |
robert piepenbrink | 06 Jun 2020 5:21 a.m. PST |
Is this tied into that poll about pick-up lines? |
Herkybird | 06 Jun 2020 10:08 a.m. PST |
I use glues in rotation, and have found very few problems. I tend to only buy glue when I am getting a bit low on stock. |

No attraction, NOW my magnets….that's another story! |
