All,
I think it is the quarantine, but I am going crazy with my wheels spinning up new game ideas. Right now, I have figures and rules for Paleolithic, Old West, King Philip's War, Zona Alfa, and Bug Hunts. Watched two Conan movies this afternoon, now I'm combing the Reaper catalog. I think I'm going overboard.
Anyone else experiencing this?

Oh yeah, It's bad enough normally. Though with some gaming going on you always have friends pushing you to finish current stuff. "Come on Mike we need more French for next weeks game." But with no gaming and solitude well I consider a new period everyday if not twice a day. Add internet ordering and Paypal. I'm doomed! Yes Paypal becuase if I have to walk downstairs to get the card well I might put it off and switch to a new shiny site.

I'm trying to limit myself to only spending what I make selling minis, but that has been slow.

Nick,

I also run a self funded war department. I was very close to making another purchase before I pulled out a long delayed project. Glad i did, since now I'm quite excited with the new (old) project.

Vince, I actually am doing the same with the sci fi and some fantasy. Being forced to game strictly solo makes it tough. Hard to justify purchases.

I am in a constant battle with myself due to all of the periods and armies that I am interested in.

I wish I had the free time to have your problem(s).

Green Tiger05 Jun 2020 5:25 a.m. PST

No- I have worked throughout and have as little free-time as before…

Stosstruppen05 Jun 2020 6:55 a.m. PST

It is a constant battle with me. Thankfully I have been working at a normal pace throughout this event, even though 2 months was at home. I still see new periods, and want to get involved with them. I am getting better at fighting off the urges, but it is difficult.

Always. Sometimes I wish I had a dedicated obsession.

We are zoom gaming ADLG which is pushing my competitive gamer streak and got me planning/expanding 9 or 10 28mm armies

I started King Philip's War. I think the quarantine/stay
in place had something to do with it. Now I also need some
new terrain, saltbox houses, a couple of wagons, and
maybe some stockade pieces.

Wild an, I did KPW as well, bought figures from Brigade, downloaded houses for the puritans from Wargames Vault, bought Indian homes from Acheson, scratchbuilt a bunch of other stuff, and bought a couple new sets of rules and kindle books on t conflict.

Wildman, I scratch built stockade pieces and got two decent wagons from Etsy.
