I like it. Air games are always good fun. For the Falklands, I bolted Shipwreck and Clash of Sabres together for a few good games. The former for the vessels and AA/SAMs, as well as damage done to them by the bombs. Used Clash for the air-to-air part, and special house rules for ALL the dud bombs in the attacks. |

I don't know if we're going to do surface to surface action or not. If so, I have Rory Crabb's Naval Command rules. Even with those, I think that for surface battles I will need something smaller than 1/1250 scale ships. While I'm going to use CY6JA for the air and bombing rules, I'm thinking about bolting some more detail onto the damage for ships. For that, I haven't decided yet; maybe even the old Harpoon rules, since the only time that would be necessary is if any of the Argentine bombs actually do go off! |

Nick, Thanks. We have a fairly active CY6JA community around here, and one of them suggested the idea to me after playing with my 1/1200 sailing ships a few times. The hardest part has been finding the OOP Triton models for British ships. The Argentine carrier came from Shapeways, and will do for gaming purposes. |
