Hi, who manufacturers 18mm African archers that would be compatible with Blue Moon's range?

Skeptic,
I have looked at Old Glory Berber archers to fill out the bow units for my West Africans, but these have facial hair. A better option would be the Khurasan Miniature range of West Sudanese, see the tribal infantry archers.

Croms Anvil make some tribesmen figures. There is only a single bow pose but I believe they are larger 15mm so may work size wise. link

We have a set on our WIP -- they would be here but the virus has slowed us to a crawl. Very soon now.

@Russ,

Would the archers be listed as Old Glory or Blue Moon?

Cheers,

They will be added to the blue moon deep dark Africa range. PM or call with your information and I will send you a pack.
We have had many requests for that pack.

@Russ

Alright!!! I've been meaning to order Blue Moon African spearmen, canoes, and now archers, all for use in mostly paint conversions as DBMM Shang Chinese irregular "Ax", "Hd", "Bw", and "Ps". Once the archers become available, the order would be complete!

Fortunately, there would seem to be little evidence re. Shang Chinese loincloths, so little green stuff should be required, apart from some possible hairstyling.

@Robert

Thank you re. the alternative source, which may still be useful for representing kilted archers.
