Memorial Day is for the fallen in the course of duty to our country, but I have no one in my family that fits that description.
The closest I have is a couple of family members that served, and some of their stories.
This is about my step father, and I wrote this as an on-line memorial titled, "Requiem for an Inadvertent Cold Warrior"
