Grand Tactician is a planned gaming series. The first game is the series is planned for release in late summer. And is set during the American civil war.

The game combines a complex strategic and logistical map. But also let's you play tactical battles.

The same designer did a computer game on the Seven Years War which is currently available.

Yes, it was a good game he made by himself. Now they are to main creators and some extra help for interference etc.

The campaign seem complex, but you can let the AI control the economy, letting you concentrate on the politics and military.

The maps look so beautiful and on theme.
It will be interesting to see how it looks when done, as everything seen so far is Pre-Alpha.

I hope the unit sizes on battles get a boost. Each unit seem to represent a brigade. But looks like a company.
I don't mind the manoeuvre unit being a brigade. But would like the brigades to look more like a brigade.
