I'm trying to develop some more hypothetical scenarios for the naval conflict, e.g. "what if the Spanish had decided to raid the coastal USA?" sort of thing.

I'm wondering if anyone has sources I can check out regarding the disposition of US Naval assets along the coastal US?

Of course, I welcome the work of those who have already developed some scenarios for this, so please direct me to your postings, etc.

Thanks in advance for any info!

Not a posting, however, everything you need and want is included in David Manley's rules "Splendid Little War" by Long Face Games. You can find it at Wargame Vault. If you can wait a few turns they have been known to post it here at a discount.

Vince, you're always spot on with stuff for the Spanish American War. That is an excellent little set of rules!
