What's the gaming world like in the San Bernadino, CA area? Groups? Clubs? Shops?

Current front runner for my wife's job search is there. We'd probably live in Riverside or Redlands?

Pegasus Hobbies is nearby. Brookhurst Hobbies is not too far also.

Yeah Brookhurst, forgot about them. A mere 59 minutes with no traffic which means three weeks at any other time!

The big regional gaming store Games Empire in Pasadena has, per sources, been closed per government decree since the CVID19 start, and per local gamer discussion earlier this week, now has closed for good. I haven't had the chance to drive by recently to confirm the actual status / permanent closing. I hope they are still just hunkering down till the end of the virus siege as they will be a real gaming loss for So. Calif.

EC,
If you need contacts for gaming in So Calif, let me know. Best to contact via my blog Wargamerabbit under the "About Wargamerabbit tab.

GMI is in Riverside, they have a mix of stuff, as well as a decent gaming scene. Depending on where you are in San Berdoo probably 20-30 minutes. St Crispins Irrgulars meet the second Saturday of the month in Anaheim, variety of gaming. And of course as mentioned Brookhurst. Unless you are driving at 3am 59 minutes from SB to Brookhurst will be unheard of…..If you are moving to that area, do not live in SB, Riverside is nice, lots of homeless though, particularly downtown. Gotten much worse since I moved away.
