We recommended using CD disks to use for terrain and model building mounting for urban areas for our rules back in the 1990s. Great bases.

Thanks for the great idea! I've never thought of deforming my CDs; I just use them round. I look forward to trying it with the next terrain project.

That's a very interesting idea.

I've often seen old CDs used as bases for woods and been tempted myself only to decide that they would be a bit large for 10mm and 6mm figures.

The thought that you can cut them safely without shattering, which is what I feared, is a revelation.
