We recommended using CD disks to use for terrain and model building mounting for urban areas for our rules back in the 1990s. Great bases. |

Thanks for the great idea! I've never thought of deforming my CDs; I just use them round. I look forward to trying it with the next terrain project. |

That's a very interesting idea. I've often seen old CDs used as bases for woods and been tempted myself only to decide that they would be a bit large for 10mm and 6mm figures. The thought that you can cut them safely without shattering, which is what I feared, is a revelation. |
