I got an Amazon gift card as a, well, gift. On April 20, I used it to order two books. One a history, available second hand from a US store. It came on the 24th. The other was a set of rules, which seemed to be out of stock at the US warehouse, but was expected in from the UK on May 18. <Sigh> On May 6, I received an email from the US warehouse saying they'd received the rules and sent out my copy that very day! This put us 12 days ahead of schedule. The projected arrival date was sometime between May 18 and May 29. Yesterday, the 14th, the rule book came! Four days before the earliest anticipated arrival date. So, is all this maybe, perhaps, possibly, a tentative indication that maybe shipping, at any rate, is getting back to what we once considered to be "normal?" Grelber |

I've ordered a number of packages since the shutdown and all of them have had normal delivery times. |

I don't think I have anything pending now. Quite a change from ten days ago. But "normal" does not describe some of the delivery times. |

Perhaps it is a regional issue. |

I'm seeing some UK shipments taking about a month or so, where before some might be received in 5 – 7 days, or sometimes even less, depending upon whether it is/was a courier shipment vs. Royal Mail. |

I shipped a series of packages from Chicago to Michigan. Time in transit varied from 2 days to 9 days. |

US service still seems to be very good. International, not so much. |

I have found delivery(in the UK) a bit slower from Amazon, but ordering from HG Hannants in London and Wonderland Models in Edinburgh has been excellent and quick as usual! |

I shipped a package May 1st to Florida, it arrived May 15th. First class. |

I have found that Amazon is both more expensive and slower making it a far less desirable choice for much of anything. Going forward I will use it as a source of last resort for my shopping. |

Ordered some AK 3rd Generation paints from Spain, and they arrived within a week, sent via DHL. Ordered a book from the U.K. and it took about 3 weeks, which is about usual for that particular vendor. |

I have had good shipping times on domestic US shipments received, mostly. One item is running late from Amazon but "is on the way". We shall see. I have not ordered from England during the pandemic, yet. |

Ordered some stuff from a mfg in NJ on April 30th and am still waiting. If I don't get it today, I'll hit them up on the status. Patience is the key word these days |
