Very nice. It is a while since I have refought that one, I may have to give it another go.

Great looking game. It is nice to see some 6mm Spaniards getting a little love.

Great stuff and funny commentary too.I did this as an Age of Eagles scenario – you are right, it is hard for the Spanish to overcome Cuesta's mad deployment.

Lovely armies and layout. Those could easily be mistaken for 15mm, not 6mm!

I agree it can be tricky to rate armies and troops appropriately. But you have enough different attributes and qualities to play with (more or fewer generals, passive, fragile, raw-trd-vet, ragged volleys etc) that it should be possible to get the right effect. I'd be interested to see how a replay goes now that you've tweaked the scenario.

Love to see Spanish only battles, rather than as an adjunct to British forces.

Horrific language butchery

Thanks all,

Indeed Chris there are a plethora of attributes to fine tune a scenario with in BBB, and of course objectives for each side can also be adjusted to suit their particular capabilities.

I'll let you know how we get on if we go through it again but I suspect the Spanish General at least will want to move swiftly on :)

I might run through it again solo just to try out the adjusted ratings

Most interesting, thanks. Agree that some pictures look as if these were 15mm. Is there a reliable, documented source for the verbal exchange between Bessieres et Lasalle? Perhaps Beniamino Trovato?

Evening all

I'm currently building up my forces to do MDR in 15mm scale.

Useful link..so thanks

About 6 units off finishing my Spanish Army and about 12 off finishing Bessieres Corps

Regards

James
