I recently found a Minifigs 15mm model of this gun, it appears to be on an improvised carriage. Does anyone know what color these were painted?

I believe it was gray. At least that's what I used for my 25mm gun and tractor with a naval crew. I also did the gun barrel in a shade of metallic gray.

For Boer War, I went with grey.

Thank you gentlemen, grey it is
