I have put out a new video of a solo game of Commands and Colors Napoleonics. I am going to work my way through the scenarios of the core box over the next few weeks, but this is the first of them:

OMG, I had to stop watching after a couple moves. Have you ever played this game before? Why would you even move your units up to within firing range of the enemy? You moved your Brit light inf two hexes so he couldn't even fire and stopped him in range of the French. Good way to get them wiped out. Then when you moved your Brit line inf on the next turn you rolled 2 dice, should have only rolled 1die. Brit line fire 5 dice if no move, but 2 if moved, minus 1 up hill = 1 die. Huge mistakes. Never move your units within 1 hex of your opponent; hold off in terrain until you get a bayonet charge. I had to stop watching when you moved your French light cav up to within 1 hex of the enemy, WHY???? should have kept the cav out of range until you can attack, he gets to move 3 hexes for gosh sakes. OMG, you would get crushed at this game playing either me or my regular opponent. Need to play this game like you are playing chess and be utterly ruthless. Every move is critical and has to be well thought out with probabilities constantly on your mind. Rant over.

My dog recently ate some of my C&CN cards. Is there any way to get replacement decks?

Well all the cards are there to view on the command and colors website I guess you could cut and paste them, then put all your cards into card protectors

Contact GMT games to see if they have any.

I am a novice when it comes to facebook and taking videos. How did you shoot this? Did you use a video camera or computer to take the video?

After watching the solo play video I decided to try it with the ancients game. I have played two games while my wife takes a break from playing. I noticed that the games took less time to play and decisions were easier and quicker to make. The games were fun.
