Knocked these battalions of 2nd Nassau up this week. Gotta love the Nassau uniform.

Yes, they do have a nice uniform and you've done them justice. I also have a battalion of Miniature Figurines figures in my French forces.

Olicana your standard of painting is outstanding! You play with works of art.

So so quick to paint units. Did you ever do a painting article on your blog?

olicana13 May 2020 7:24 a.m. PST

I did. In the side bar under 'modelling and conversions'.

I mean to do another one, only I keep forgetting to take photos at every stage of the process.

BTW. They are not quick to paint. Each figure takes 20 – 30 minutes. 56 figures comes in at around 24 hours work – or three 9-5 working days; or in this case, after I finished painting all day for clients, I spent about 3 hours every evening doing them for over a week.

It isn't speed, my friend, it's down to stamina and dedication to the process. Don't watch TV, or spend time with your family, paint instead.

All good stuff. And agree on the dedication

When you're ready to do one (painting guide) of your Naps, you'll guaranteed to have at least one avid follower…

Despite the fact that I no longer paint them, Wellington's AA army for the 100 days campaign is my favorite of the entire era. By far the most colorful.

I would regard this at very quick – painted in this quality

Sorry James, I hope my comment wasn't misconstrued. I wasn't trying to denigrate your work, the reverse in fact – I am amazed how "quickly" you can produce units of this quality. I would spend a month doing just one.

Really effective style you have developed over 40 years of gaming.
