Long gone I know, but I finally got around to assembling the ships from the starter set I bought before Spartan collapsed. I'm quite liking them, but they don't fit well, scale or aesthetic-wise, with anything else I have to hand.
I think they are supposed to be around 1:20,000.

So anything is there anything out there that plays well with the Halo fleet stuff – not even looking for proxies just stuff that scales well?

Had a quick look on ebay, knowing the gougers want stupid, money – £300.00 GBP for the starter set, but then I saw an auction for the UNSC super carrier bidding at over £350.00 GBP! I'm also staying away from Shapeways – I'm guessing you can find Halo stuff there, but it always seems to work out stupidly expensive with postage for me.

Look on Shapeways. There are a lot of different ships there including some of the Halo ships link

I think there are some active Facebook groups, and some of the members sell 3D prints of ships (including new classes). Give them a try:

"Gougers", buzzards more like it. I don't mind someone making a profit, but theres a point where it even makes greed look bad. But if 'you own IT', you can 'ask' what you will.

Ive heard of people getting busted and loosing accts. w/ online game company's, for actually paying real Money for high level 'make believe' items for their game characters.

How bad can your life be for a person to do that and thinking; "This is a good idea."
At least w/ a miniature, you have something you can hold, take home and find a use for, even if you have to come up w/ your own game rules.
