Title says it all. A sightly modified Zvezda Pirate Ship done up in dark colors this time. I'm really getting the hang of these things now and can get one done in a couple of hours. link |

Cool! I didn't know about this one. It could pass for a Dutch Indiaman or small warship anytime in the 17th C. Are the stern galleries molded on, or can they be swapped? - Ix |

Yellow Admiral, Sadly they are cast on as part of the stern-castle. Given the soft nature of Zvezda plastic they would only be a small bit of work to remove and plate over with a cast of the windows from the rear of one of the other Zvezda boats or just some Greenfield plastic. Alternately you could just back-fill the gallery and sand the outside off. They did go to the trouble of arming it with more, but lighter, cannon as one would expect with a pirate vessel (sinking the target not in keeping with effective looting). It really is another very nice kit. |
