Same thing….UXO is still being dug up from some ACW battlefields…. |

Yes, in many battlefields all over the world you'll find UXO. On one of my tours on the DMZ in the ROK, '84 or '85. A local Korean farmer stepped on a mine leftover from '53. Usually those old minefields are marked and fenced off with barbwire, etc. But he found one mine that was not. We had to go in to get him. A little dicey as there could have been other unmarked mines out there. Anyway we got him out. AFAIK he lost part of his foot. But survived … |
