(Note, got a double post and the title on the main board is correct, but here reads as Flintlock games when it should read Firelock Games).

Anyone playing this? I had never heard of it until it released and after watching a few play videos on youtube, ordered the starter set and a few extra ships. My son and I played over the weekend and really enjoyed it. It's easy to pick up but has lots of decision choices during play and a ton of fun tactical nuances. The game takes wind into account well and has lots of options for your ships.

After not really enjoying Sails of Glory and missing out on Black Seas, I think this is the game for me.

I was particularly drawn to the 17th century setting since I find it more interesting than the usual Napoleonic focus in Age of Sail. Supposedly depending on success, the makers are planning on lots of factions and expansions.

A thumbs up from me.

It might be a good game, but the ships look awful cheap to me.

Coopman- I know it is only an opinion but they are pretty detailed and well made. Give them a try!
