Outstanding book. The preview reveals a good cast. The costumes are excellent. And my Canadian wife will likely enjoy the Canadian focus. It's on my list. |

This originated from a novel, outlined here on wikipedia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barkskins I was not aware of the ultimate poor treatment of native Americans by the Canadian government, taking their children away to educate in government schools. I am puzzled about the "deforestation." I understand that there are more trees growing today in NOrth American than there were before the first Europeans arrived. GdeP |

I thought it was okay. I am intrigued enough to watch the next two episodes. That said, I generally lose interest in these type of shows after a couple of weeks. |
